The best time to be around puppies is when they are about 3 weeks old.  During this time they are learning all about their surroundings.  They begin to explore and get out of their nests.  This is the time that they really begin to come alive.  They are no longer just little wiggly things, but really tiny dogs.

I chose to breed Chihuahuas because of the love that they give and how loyal they are.  It is alot of dog in a tiny package.  It is never easy and there is often more heartache than anything else, but I do it because I want to breed that perfect dog.  Through showing my dogs, I am finding the faults and breeding them out so I can eventually refine the dog to that perfect Chihuahua.
